Seitz Brothers dealt extra-time heartache in NCAA Quarter-Final

Colin and Brady Seitz were dealt a 1-0 extra time defeat in the NCAA Quarterfinals against SUNY Oneonta Sunday afternoon on Walton Field. After going the full 90 minutes with no goals, the match went into extra time with golden goal rules in effect. With 2:26 remaining in the first extra period, Oneonta State broke the deadlock to put Haverford’s most successful season of the NCAA era to a close. The loss ended a school-record 16 game winning streak that ranked among the best in the country.

Congrats to the Seitz brothers for helping set records who will now look to further their playing careers following their last NCAA game.


Colin and Brady Seitz help Haverford College to undefeated league season and berth in NCAA Third Round

SDFA Alumni Colin (#9) and Brady Seitz (#16) have helped their school win the Centennial Conference with a record of 9-0, which earned them a spot in the NCAA DIII tournament. Both players have started every single match this season, helping their team earn a 17-3 record.

Brady and Colin both earned 1st Team All Conference, the 2nd recognition for each of them. Colin also contributed 7 goals and 4 assists.

Haverford College plays in the 3rd Round of the NCAA Tournament Saturday, November 21, at 11:00AM EST. Best of luck boys and congratulations on your success!

SDFA Alumni Brady and Colin Seitz earn postseason awards for Haverford College

Brady Seitz (#16) scored 12 goals and had three (3) assists for a points total of 27, which leads the Centennial Conference, and is one the main reasons for his selection to the All- Centennial Conference First Team. Four (4) of his goals were game winners, including one in the first round of the postseason.

Colin Seitz (#9) also had a tremendous season, and earned Honorable Mention All- Centennial Conference. Colin started in all 16 games he appeared for the Fords, and also collected three (3) assists.

SDFA Alumnus Brady Seitz earns Offensive player of the Week Award 

November 3rd, 2014

The club is proud to pass along the news that SDFA Alumni Brady Seitz has earned the Offensive Player of the Week Award while playing for Haverford College, which is a member of the Centennial Conference.

Brady has played a big role in helping Haverford make the postseason this year: in the final two matches of the regular season, he had a hand in all four goals the Fords scored, including the equalizer that came with two (2) seconds to play against Swarthmore, a result that earned Haverford a postseason berth. Brady leads the entire Centennial Conference in goals (11) and points (25). The Haverford Fords play Johns Hopkins in the first round of the conference tournament.
