SDFA Alumni Kenzie Broton earns a spot at Cal Baptist University

June 12th 2015

Kenzie Broton is a former captain for SDFA (BU18, 2013), who played for Coach Johnson Asiedu from the young age of 11 years old, all the way to U18. He spent last season at Mesa College, a Junior College, where he made the California state All- Star team. This achievement, along with a strong freshman year, has earned him the opportunity to transfer and play for the Cal Baptist University Lancers.

This is what SDFA Director of Coaching Johnson Asiedu had to say about him: “Kenzie is a technically gifted player, who has great individual control and a very good eye for a pass. He has shown me time and again his desire to continue improving as a soccer player and reach his goals. I have been working with him since he was only 11 years old, and I am tremendously proud of his achievement. I am confident that he will succeed; in addition to his work ethic, he has a fantastic support system in his parents, Don and Tonniane, who continue to push and support him as he makes the next step in his journey. Best of luck to Kenzie in the future!”
